FARGO-CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar brings back the festive outdoor food experience.

General Manager Joe Brown (Joe Brown) said that the six heated outdoor dining "igloos" on the restaurant's terrace are now open and accepting reservations.

"Last year was very successful. This is a great opportunity. We got a very positive response. It feels very simple to do this again," Brown said on Friday, November 5.

CRAVE launched the holiday igloo dining experience at the end of the fall of 2020. The dome-shaped dining environment is equipped with tavern lights, heaters and festive decorations, and is warmly welcomed by diners.

"This is the experience. It is the atmosphere. With family and friends in your own world, you can still get a full range of services," Brown said.

The gourmet globe in the West Acres shopping center restaurant can accommodate up to 6 people. There is a $250 fee to book an igloo, but this fee will be used to pay for food and beverage bills on site. The restaurant’s full menu is available for igloo diners.

The booking will last until December 31, but "we expect it will most likely be completed before Valentine's Day," Brown said.

Christkindlmarkt will be held in Fargo Civic from November 18th to 21st

The 90-minute period is during dinner time, and the igloo is disinfected between users.

As the call volume is expected to be high, there is a special Igloo reservation telephone line: 701-361-3452.

Brown said that the PVC pipe dome is covered with a layer of transparent plastic, which can block the wind and keep it warm, but encourages customers to wear coats on particularly cold nights.

Brown said that CRAVE's experience should make outdoor dining in windy and cold places a pleasant experience.

"We have a year of experience. This year has been relatively smooth," Brown said.
